Talisman X Third Rail

The Third Rail is the first recognized independent Supporters Group for Major League Soccer club New York City FC. The name refers to the method of powering trains used by the New York City subway system, where the trains' wheels run on two parallel tracks, while an electrified third rail running alongside the train provides the power. From the New York Subway to Metro-North to the Long Island Rail Road, the transit system is the lifeblood of the city. These trains make NYC possible and bring people together, with the third rail providing the power. Similarly, the Third Rail supporters group is the electricity that powers New York City FC, from the organization to the players on the pitch.

We had the amazing opportunity to work with the group on a collection of three caps at the end of the 2017 MLS season. The collection includes a pair of 5-panel melton wool caps and an unstructured 6-panel cap.
